A new SaaS contact often needs a welcome message before marketing staff have reviewed the latest sign-up list. WhautoMail can trigger when a contact is created in the system. Mobile Message can then send a plain-text SMS, create the person as a contact, or add an existing person to a Mobile Message list.

This is useful for subscription businesses that want a timely confirmation or an internal alert when a contact enters WhautoMail. A new contact can receive a short welcome text, while a separate workflow can create the corresponding Mobile Message record for later campaigns. If your process uses a particular audience, Add Contact to List can place the person in that list after the contact event. The connection is configured through Zapier, so you choose the WhautoMail event, map the available contact fields and select one Mobile Message action. It does not synchronise tags, campaigns or contact changes in both directions. Each Zap handles one defined event and result.
