About the Brevo integration

A marketing email that bounces or never gets opened often means a customer misses an update they actually needed, whether that's a shipping delay, an event reminder or a simple thank you for a purchase. Brevo tracks events like a marketing email hard bouncing, a contact subscribing to a list and a new contact being added, but on its own that information doesn't reach the person by any other channel. For a business relying on email alone, that gap can quietly cost a sale or a booking.

Mobile Message connects to Brevo through Zapier, giving that information somewhere else to go. When a marketing email hard bounces, the same customer can be sent a text instead, and a contact subscribing to a list can trigger a welcome SMS the moment they sign up. A new contact added in Brevo can also be added as a Mobile Message contact ready for future texts, and if that customer later texts back to opt out, the reply can unsubscribe them from Brevo's lists automatically.

Can Mobile Message text a customer when a Brevo email bounces?

Yes. Through Zapier, a marketing email hard bouncing in Brevo can trigger Mobile Message to send that customer an SMS instead, so a bounced email doesn't mean the message never gets through.

Does texting back to opt out update my Brevo lists?

It can. An inbound SMS received by Mobile Message can be set up through Zapier to unsubscribe that contact from Brevo's lists, so a reply asking to stop is acted on without anyone updating Brevo by hand.

What do I need to start texting from Brevo triggers?
