Loops SMS Integration

A subscriber joins a mailing list in Loops, and from then on they can hear from the business by text as well as by email, without anyone copying their details across by hand. Someone who unsubscribes from Loops stops getting SMS from the business too, rather than falling through a gap between two separate contact lists.

Loops connects to Mobile Message through Zapier, so those contact events on one side can act on the other. When a contact subscribes to a mailing list in Loops, they can be added to a list in Mobile Message at the same time. A new contact created in Loops can also be created as a contact in Mobile Message, and a contact unsubscribing in Loops can add them to the Mobile Message unsubscribe list, so they never receive an unwanted text. The connection runs the other way too, since a reply to an SMS can be logged as an event in Loops, ready to inform whatever email follow up comes next.

The result feels considered rather than duplicated. They hear from the business once, on the channel that fits the moment, and never get a text after they've already said they don't want one. None of this touches how Loops sends its own campaign or transactional emails, it only adds the text side to a handful of moments that already happen in Loops.
