An email address that bounces after a customer has already been added to a list is a quiet way for a follow up to go nowhere. ValidEmail checks whether an address is real and deliverable before anyone sends to it, and that check is the one action it currently offers through Zapier, Verify Email. It runs on a single address at a time and returns whether that address is valid.

ValidEmail does not have a Zapier trigger of its own, so it cannot start a text through Mobile Message, and Verify Email does not produce anything a text message would act on, since it checks email addresses rather than phone numbers. Where it helps is earlier in a workflow, confirming an email is genuine before a form submission or new contact moves on to whichever step follows, including any email marketing sent alongside a separate Mobile Message SMS Zap that reaches the same customer by phone instead.
