Tella SMS Integration

Teams that create training, onboarding and customer videos in Tella often need to tell people when a useful recording is ready. A New Video Created event can start a Zap, so an employee, customer or project contact receives a timely text instead of waiting for a manual announcement.

Through Zapier, Tella can pass a new video event to Mobile Message. Mobile Message can send an SMS containing a link or short instruction, create a contact for a person who should receive future updates, or add that contact to a list. A New Playlist Created or Video Added to Playlist event can also support notifications when a collection of recordings is ready. The connection works through Zapier and does not create a native two-way integration.

This suits teams that publish recordings regularly. Use the Tella fields available to your Zap to personalise the message, identify the video and direct the recipient to the right next step. A separate workflow can use Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger if recipients need to text back, while Tella's actions can respond to Mobile Message events only when the chosen action makes sense for your process.
