Tapt SMS Integration

A contact captured through a Tapt digital business card can represent a valuable conversation from an event, meeting, or introduction. If that new contact sits unattended, the opportunity for a prompt follow-up may disappear. A Zap can use Tapt's New Contact event to send an SMS through Mobile Message, giving the person a timely acknowledgement after their details are exchanged.

The message can thank them for connecting, confirm that someone will follow up, or invite them to reply with what they need. Tapt's Updated Contact event can also start a workflow when the saved details change. Mobile Message can send SMS, send SMS to a list, create contact, update contact, and add contact to a list. This allows a new Tapt contact to be created in Mobile Message or placed into a suitable list as part of the same broader process.

The connection runs through Zapier and is not a native two-way integration. Each automation links one Tapt event to one Mobile Message action, so it does not continuously synchronise contact records. Use the phone number and other fields supplied by Tapt, write a clear message, and check that your contact and consent process supports the planned SMS.
