Teams that use Tako to manage external communication often need important customer activity to reach people outside the database as well. A new record found in Tako can trigger a Mobile Message SMS, while a record can also create a contact for future messaging. This gives operators a practical way to act on database information without repeatedly exporting numbers or checking separate screens.

The connection is made through Zapier, so you choose the Tako event and the Mobile Message action that fit your process. A Tako Find Record trigger might send a personalised reminder to a customer, or create a Mobile Message contact ready for a later campaign. Mobile Message can also create or update a Tako record after someone texts your number, where that record is useful to the team. This is not a native two-way sync. Each Zap runs in one direction and only when its selected trigger occurs. Keep the fields specific, test the phone number format, and decide whether a list or individual SMS is the better result for your workflow.
