A customer texts your business number for the first time, and within moments they are also sitting in your Stibee list, ready to receive your next newsletter without anyone typing their details into a form. That is the point of the connection between Mobile Message and Stibee, the text does the introducing and Stibee takes it from there.

Built through Zapier, the pairing runs off Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger and hands the details to whichever Stibee action suits the outcome you want. Add Subscriber puts the customer straight onto a list, Add Subscriber With Double-Opt-In sends a confirmation email before they are fully signed up, and Add Subscriber to Group slots them into a specific segment such as a location or campaign group. On the other side, if a text bounces, Mobile Message's Delivery Status Updated trigger can run Stibee's Delete Subscriber action so that contact is removed as well.

None of this changes how Stibee itself works, the two tools are not syncing back and forth. Each Zap runs one way, from a Mobile Message event to a single Stibee action, which keeps the process simple to set up and predictable once it is running.
