When SendZen receives a new WhatsApp message, the reply can otherwise remain in a separate channel while your SMS workflow waits for someone to notice it. Teams handling customer conversations can use that event to send a plain text SMS through Mobile Message, giving a customer an additional contact route when it is appropriate.

The connection runs through Zapier. SendZen’s New Message trigger can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action, or it can send an SMS to a list when a WhatsApp conversation needs to reach several subscribed recipients. On the other side, a Mobile Message inbound SMS received event can trigger SendZen’s Send Session Text Message action, allowing a customer’s text to be passed into a WhatsApp session.

This suits operators who manage WhatsApp sessions and SMS communications together without manually copying phone numbers or message text. The Zap only performs the direction you configure. It does not synchronise conversations, and it does not turn SMS into media or attachments. Keep the message content, recipient details and consent requirements clear when building each workflow.
