The same connection can support practical record keeping. An Inbound SMS Received event in Mobile Message can trigger ProdataKey Update Holder when a staff member sends a suitably formatted request, while a new person can be created with Create Holder from another workflow. These actions should be configured with clear permissions and careful testing because access control changes can affect physical security. The SMS itself can communicate that an event occurred and identify the relevant site or door. It does not replace ProdataKey’s access rules or confirm that a person is authorised. Zapier provides the connection between the selected event and action, so each automation remains focused on one operational outcome.

Yes. Access Denied can trigger Mobile Message Send SMS in Zapier. The notification can identify the relevant door or holder using the data available from the ProdataKey event.

Yes. Forced Alarm Activated or Propped Alarm Activated can start Send SMS. Use these workflows to notify a nominated person that an alarm event needs attention, rather than treating the message as a replacement for access controls.
