Postman SMS Integration

An API team creates a new workspace, monitor or collection and wants the right people to know what has changed. Postman can send Zapier events for new mock servers, APIs, workspaces, collections, environments and monitors. Mobile Message can then send an SMS, create a contact or add a contact to a list. This can provide a direct alert when a technical asset is ready for review.

For example, a new monitor could text an on-call team member, while a new workspace could notify a project contact. Mobile Message’s Delivery Status Updated trigger can also start a Postman action such as Run Monitor, Create Request or Create Collection, where the event and fields suit that workflow. The result must be designed carefully because Postman actions create or run technical resources rather than send a customer message. This is a Zapier connection, not a native synchronisation between the platforms. Keep each Zap focused, map the relevant workspace or resource data, and test it with a safe Postman environment before enabling live actions.
