A customer scans a loyalty pass at the counter and expects their balance or reward status to be current. PassEntry can send that scan event to Mobile Message, so the customer receives a plain text update or your team gets a prompt to check the account.

PassEntry also provides New Pass Added to Wallet, Pass Status Changed and Pass Removed From Wallet. Through Zapier, these events can trigger Mobile Message Send SMS, Send SMS to List or a contact action. For example, a new pass installation can start a welcome text, while a pass status change can notify a customer about the next step. The SMS can use the customer details and pass information available to the Zap.

PassEntry actions such as Update Loyalty Balance, Create Pass and Send Notification can be started by Mobile Message events where the workflow makes sense. For instance, an inbound SMS could create or update a pass record using the data supplied in the message. Configure each direction as its own Zap, with PassEntry managing wallet passes and Mobile Message handling the selected text or contact action.
