Paired with Mobile Message through Zapier, that check becomes the filter that runs before a new contact ever gets created.

A course provider collecting sign ups through a form can have every email validated first, and only once it passes does the matching phone number get added as a contact in Mobile Message, ready for reminder texts. It stops a contact list from filling up with entries built on a bad email address, and it means the phone number sitting next to it is more likely to be accurate too.
