Legal aid and non-profit teams often review an intake form before a client can be contacted about the next step. A submitted form may be approved while staff are dealing with another matter, leaving the person waiting for confirmation. Lexopulus can start a Zap when a submitted form is approved or when an intake form is published.

Through Zapier, those events can run Mobile Message’s Send SMS, Create Contact, Update Contact or Add Contact to List actions. An approved submission can send a plain text confirmation to the client, while a published intake form can create a contact for an outreach list. The fields available from Lexopulus determine which name, phone number and form information can be mapped into Mobile Message.

Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received event can also start Lexopulus’s Form Submission CA or Form Submission US action. That gives an inbound text a defined form workflow, provided the required fields and jurisdiction are mapped in Zapier. These are separate one-way automations, not a shared case record or continuous synchronisation. Test carefully with appropriate privacy controls.
