Through Zapier, a paid order, a form submission, or a new event registration can prompt Layerre to create that personalised variant, and once it exists, Mobile Message can text the customer a link to see it. The order or registration starts the job, Layerre builds the one off version from the template on file, and the text is what tells the customer their design or badge is ready, without anyone on the team having to check a queue of files and send links out one by one.

- Create Template — Creates a new template from a design share URL. The template will include all layers, dimensions, and metadata extracted from the design.
- Create Variant — Creates a variant of a template with custom layer overrides. Use this to generate personalized versions of your template.
- Create Variants (Bulk) — Create multiple variants in one request. Set combine_pdf=true (Plus+ only) to merge PDF items into one multi-page file. Pass items as a JSON array.
- Delete Template — Deletes a template by ID. This is a soft delete - the template will be marked as deleted but not permanently removed.

Can Layerre create a personalised design before Mobile Message texts the customer?
Yes. Layerre can generate a variant from a template, such as a name added to a mockup or a badge with someone's details, and once that variant exists, a Zap can have Mobile Message text the customer a link to view it.
Does Layerre send the finished design by SMS?
No, SMS carries plain text only. Layerre creates the personalised image or file, and the text sent through Mobile Message links to it, letting the customer view or download the finished variant themselves.
How do I connect Layerre's variant creation to my Mobile Message texts?
You need a Layerre account, a Mobile Message account, and a trigger such as a paid order or event registration to start the Zap. It's built in Zapier without coding, so the variant is created and the link texted automatically each time the trigger fires.
