IronWiFi SMS Integration

A guest needs wireless access, and the person responsible should know when a new account or voucher has been created. IronWiFi manages network users, groups and temporary access, while Mobile Message can send the SMS that confirms an important access event. This is useful for venues, offices, events and paid WiFi services where a timely notice matters.

New User can trigger a welcome text, and New Voucher can alert staff that temporary access has been generated. You can also pair New User with Mobile Message Create Contact when the available user information should be recorded for later messaging. IronWiFi actions such as Generate Voucher, Create User and Disable User are useful for network administration, but the clearest customer-facing workflows start with its triggers. Zapier passes the chosen IronWiFi fields to Mobile Message, so you can personalise the message and select the recipient. The connection does not synchronise account status or manage network access from Mobile Message. Each Zap performs one action, leaving IronWiFi responsible for access control and Mobile Message responsible for SMS delivery.
