IPerity Compass SMS Integration

It's after hours and calls need to route differently, but nobody wants to open the PBX admin panel from home just to make it happen, especially when the person who can fix it is standing in a car park with only a phone in hand. With IPerity Compass connected to Mobile Message through Zapier, a text message can do that job instead.

Inbound SMS Received can trigger IPerity Compass's Update Dialplan Switch action, so sending a specific SMS becomes the trigger for changing how calls are routed, whether that's flipping the phone system into after-hours mode, switching a dialplan when the office closes early, or redirecting calls during an unplanned outage. It's a way to reach into the phone system from a mobile handset, using a text instead of logging into settings from a laptop that might not even be nearby, or waiting until someone gets back to a desk to make the change manually.
