IntelFinder SMS Integration

A threat intelligence alert has arrived, and the people responsible for response need to see it before it disappears among ordinary notifications. IntelFinder’s Check for New Alerts trigger gives your team a clear event to pass into Mobile Message. An SMS can call attention to a new alert, helping an on-call person decide when to inspect the IntelFinder service.

Through Zapier, Check for New Alerts can start Mobile Message Send SMS, Send SMS to List or Create Contact. You can text one responder with the alert summary, notify an incident group, or record a relevant contact when the alert contains those details. IntelFinder’s Change Alert Status action can be used separately when another system or event should update an alert.

This workflow sends an alert notification, not a complete incident response process. Mobile Message does not change IntelFinder status through its available actions. Keep sensitive information out of the SMS where appropriate, and use the text to point the recipient towards the system where the full alert can be reviewed.
