Heyhack SMS Integration

Manual security follow-up can leave a newly discovered vulnerability waiting in an inbox while developers continue working. Heyhack users can put a direct alert in front of the people responsible for a web application. Through Zapier, a New Finding event can trigger Mobile Message Send SMS, giving your team a short notification as soon as Heyhack reports a vulnerability.

This connection suits security consultants, software teams and agencies that monitor several applications. A text can identify the application, finding and severity using data from Heyhack, so the recipient knows which test result needs attention. You can also use New Application to notify an owner when a system is added, or New Test Profile to tell a testing team that a profile is ready. Mobile Message is used for the outbound message, while Heyhack remains the source of the security event.

The workflow does not replace Heyhack testing or create a security record in Mobile Message. It simply turns selected Heyhack events into SMS notifications through Zapier. That can reduce the delay between a finding being recorded and a person beginning the response, especially when email is easy to overlook outside office hours.
