A Hex project run can finish while the people who need its result are working elsewhere. Hex provides the New Project Run event, which can start a Zapier workflow and send a Mobile Message SMS with the status, result or link supplied in the run data. This makes a completed analysis easier to notice without asking someone to monitor the workspace.

List Users and List Groups can also help identify recipients for a messaging workflow, while Run Project can be started by a separate Zap trigger when an operational process needs a published project to execute. Mobile Message’s Send SMS action is the practical delivery step, and Create Contact can save a selected recipient for later communication.

Hex remains the place for data projects, notebooks and project runs. Mobile Message sends the plain text message, and Zapier carries the chosen fields. The connection does not turn Hex into a messaging system or create a general synchronisation between user, group and project records.

A useful message can tell a stakeholder that a project run is ready for review and include a link held in the Zap fields. You control the recipient and content for each workflow.
