A learner completes an activity, and GrassBlade LRS receives a new xAPI statement that your team may need to act on. Its New Statement trigger can start a Mobile Message SMS through Zapier, giving an administrator or trainer a prompt when a relevant learning record arrives. This is useful for operational alerts where waiting for a manual report would slow the next step.

Mobile Message can send SMS, create contacts, or add people to a list from the statement data supplied by GrassBlade LRS. For example, a statement can alert a trainer about a learner event or add a participant to a selected communication list. GrassBlade’s Create Statements action is not needed for this direction, because the useful event is the statement already received by the LRS.

The workflow is a one-way alert or contact action, not a complete learning record synchronisation. Configure filters in Zapier so only the statements that matter create a message, then keep the SMS short and clear.
