FoundationX helps teams organise sources, conversations and workflow activity, while Mobile Message provides a direct way to notify a customer or colleague by SMS. Through Zapier, an event from FoundationX can start a message, or an incoming SMS can create a record for the team to handle.

Use Fetch Workflow Runs to identify workflow activity for a notification Zap, or Fetch Conversations when a conversation needs attention. Pair those events with Send SMS and include the relevant status or next step in the text. Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger can also start FoundationX’s Create Message No Stream action, placing a reply into a chosen conversation.

This can reduce the gap between activity in FoundationX and a person’s phone. The available actions also include Run Workflow and Create Conversation, which may be useful when an incoming message should initiate a FoundationX process or conversation. Each workflow is configured separately, with Zapier passing selected fields between the two services rather than maintaining a native two-way connection.
