A critical error can affect customers before a developer sees it in the Exceptionless dashboard. Exceptionless can send New Critical Error, New Error, New Error Regression or New Error Stack Promoted into Zapier, where Mobile Message delivers an SMS alert. That removes the manual wait for someone to notice and forward an important event.

New Critical Error is the clearest choice for an urgent operational warning. New Error Regression can tell a team that a previously fixed problem has returned, while New Error can highlight a previously unseen issue. A promoted error stack can also notify the person responsible for reviewing it. Include the error title, project details and link information supplied by Exceptionless in the message, subject to the fields available in the Zap.

Exceptionless also provides actions to add a reference link or mark an error stack fixed. An inbound SMS can run either action when the mapped data and workflow are appropriate, though SMS alerts are usually the most visible result. The connection uses Zapier and does not synchronise error status automatically.
