Connecting Mobile Message to Chatmax through Zapier means a reply picked up as an Inbound SMS Received event can trigger Chatmax's Send a Message Template action, so the same reply also opens a matching conversation in Chatmax with a template ready to go, rather than someone having to start that conversation from scratch.

It also covers the times a text does not arrive at all. If a Delivery Status Updated event shows a message failed, Chatmax can send a message template as a backup, so a customer is not left waiting simply because one channel had a problem getting through on that occasion.

For a team managing conversations across more than one channel already, this means the handover between Mobile Message and Chatmax happens the moment something changes, rather than depending on someone checking both platforms throughout the day and matching up replies by hand.
