Operators who keep customer, stock or workflow information in ApptiveGrid can use a new entry as a practical signal for SMS communication. When an entry appears in a grid view, a Zap can send a Mobile Message text to the person responsible or create a contact for later follow-up. This avoids checking views manually for every new record.

ApptiveGrid also provides New Entry and Entry Updated triggers, plus actions that create, update or load entries. A Mobile Message action can send an SMS, send an SMS to a list, create a contact or add a contact to a list. For example, a new service record could prompt a confirmation, while a new contact entry could be placed into a messaging list. The workflow uses the particular ApptiveGrid event and Mobile Message action you choose through Zapier. It does not imply that changes are synchronised in both directions.
