AI Receptionist SMS Integration

A caller leaves a message while the team is serving another customer, and the useful details can otherwise sit unseen until someone checks the portal. AI Receptionist sends a New Message event when its agent takes a message on your behalf. Through Zapier, Mobile Message can send an SMS acknowledging the message, create a contact, or add the caller to a list. This gives the caller a prompt sign that their request has reached the business.

The text can confirm that someone will follow up and can include the caller’s name or other information supplied by AI Receptionist. You can also use Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger with AI Receptionist’s Create Contact action when a caller replies by text and your workflow has the required contact details. The connection is configured in Zapier rather than being a native integration. Each account remains separate, and the selected trigger only starts the action you design. Test the wording and phone mapping so the SMS is useful without promising a response time your team cannot meet.
