A managed service provider sees a new protection alert and needs the right person to know before the next customer call. Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud can start a Zap when an alert is created or updated, a customer tenant is created, or a user is created. Mobile Message can then send an SMS, create a contact, or add a contact to a list.

This can give an operations contact a short alert about a changed security issue, or notify a team member when a new customer tenant is ready for attention. A new user can also be recorded as a Mobile Message contact when that is appropriate for the communication plan. Through Zapier, selected Acronis fields are passed into the Mobile Message action, so staff do not need to watch the console continuously for every selected event. The connection is intended for notifications and contact handling. Mobile Message does not dismiss Acronis alerts, produce usage reports or manage customer tenants. Those actions remain in Acronis. Choose clear alert rules and keep sensitive technical details out of a plain-text SMS unless your process permits them.
