A redeemed coupon can trigger an SMS thanking the customer, confirming the offer or inviting feedback. It can also create a contact or add the customer to a Mobile Message list, provided the event supplies the necessary contact details. Zola's Validate Coupon Code action can be started by an inbound SMS received through Mobile Message, allowing a customer to text a code and receive validation through the Zola step where your Zap includes a suitable follow-up action.

Use these workflows to give promotions a clear customer-facing response and keep the process consistent. The connection is handled in Zapier and does not synchronise Zola and Mobile Message. Select the event, map the phone number and message fields, then test the Zap with a real or test coupon.
