WithFriends Events SMS Integration

An attendee buys a ticket, contributes to a community project, or joins a membership through WithFriends Events, and the organiser needs to acknowledge that activity quickly. A text can confirm the next step, provide event information, or thank the person for supporting the organisation. This removes the need to monitor every transaction and prepare individual messages during a busy event period.

Through Zapier, New Activity can trigger Mobile Message Send SMS, Create Contact, or Add Contact to List. The event fields available from WithFriends Events can supply the recipient and relevant transaction details. A simple workflow can therefore turn a ticket purchase or membership sign-up into a timely message while the organisation continues using WithFriends Events to manage the transaction.

This connection is useful for community groups, membership organisations, and event teams that want a clear communication after an activity occurs. It does not replace the checkout or membership records in WithFriends Events. Instead, it passes the selected event through Zapier to Mobile Message, where you control the message, recipient, and follow-up list.
