Event organisers using Whova want registrants and attendees to receive useful information at the right point, not after the event team has found time to send it manually. Get Registrants can trigger a confirmation or preparation text, while Get Attendees can alert staff when the attendee list changes. Through Zapier, Whova events can start Mobile Message Send SMS.

Get Orders can also notify an operations team about order-list changes, and a registrant can be created as a Mobile Message Contact when suitable mobile details are available. If an attendee replies by SMS, Inbound SMS Received can trigger Whova Create or Update Attendee, giving the event team a way to place the response into the attendee list.
