About the Visualping integration

A monitored website changes, but the person responsible may not be looking at their email or Visualping dashboard at that moment. New Website Change can start a Mobile Message SMS, putting a short alert in front of the team member who needs to investigate. This is useful for changes to business pages, competitor pages, service notices or other monitored content.

Through Zapier, Visualping supplies the website change event and Mobile Message sends a plain-text notification. The message can identify the monitored page and explain that a review is needed, using the fields available from Visualping. A selected Mobile Message list can notify several people when the change affects a broader team.

Visualping has no listed actions, so the workflow is one-way from website monitoring to SMS. It does not send website content through text or update the monitoring setup after a reply. Choose New Website Change, select Send SMS or Send SMS to List, map the message and test the Zap before relying on it for important notices.
