Vectara SMS Integration

AI assistant teams using Vectara may create new corpora as their knowledge base grows, but operational staff still need a practical way to hear about important changes. Vectara provides tools for building assistants and agents, while Mobile Message can deliver a plain-text notification when a new file event is available.

Vectara’s New Corpora trigger fires when a new file is created. That event can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action, allowing a team member to receive a short notice about the new content. It can also create a contact or add a recipient to a Mobile Message list if the event belongs to a defined operational group. Keep the SMS focused on the event and pass through only the details needed by the recipient.

Vectara’s only listed action is API Request (Beta), which is an advanced raw request. It can be selected when Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received or Delivery Status Updated trigger starts a Zap, but the request must be configured with the correct endpoint and fields. The most straightforward use is therefore a Vectara event that sends an SMS, rather than treating the connection as a shared assistant or content system.
