Topicary SMS Integration

Documentation teams who publish customer-facing topics need people to know when important guidance changes. Topicary gives content operators triggers for Topic Updated and Topic Published, plus an action to Create Topic. Mobile Message can place an SMS alert around those events through Zapier, helping a documentation owner or support lead notice a change without watching the authoring system.

Topic Published can send a message to a selected internal contact when a new article becomes available. Topic Updated can alert a reviewer that content or metadata has changed and may need checking. In the other direction, an Inbound SMS Received event can run Topicary's Create Topic action when the text contains the information required for a new draft. These are separate, one-directional Zaps. They do not provide a shared content library or automatically keep Topicary and Mobile Message records aligned.

This connection is most useful for concise operational alerts and lightweight content requests. Use the available topic fields to identify what changed, and keep SMS wording short enough for a person to act on quickly. Any reply-based workflow should be designed with clear formatting and permissions.
