About the Ticket Generator integration

A guest registers for an event and expects useful information quickly. Ticket Generator can notify Zapier when a New Guest Registration occurs, when an event starts or ends, or when a ticket is generated and sent. Mobile Message can then put an important update in front of the guest or event team by SMS.

A registration can trigger Send SMS with arrival details, a ticket reminder, or a simple confirmation. Event Started and Event Ended can notify staff, while New Ticket Generated (Sent) can acknowledge that the ticket process has completed. If a ticket needs to be withdrawn, Deactivate Ticket is available as a Ticket Generator action and can be used when Mobile Message receives an inbound SMS, provided the workflow has a clear ticket identifier and a suitable instruction. Ticket Generator remains the event and ticket system. Mobile Message sends the text through Zapier, so each automation runs in one direction.

Ticket Generator + SMS: common questions

Can Ticket Generator text guests after registration?

Yes. New Guest Registration can trigger Mobile Message’s Send SMS action in Zapier. The message can confirm registration and include event information mapped from the Ticket Generator record.

Can an inbound SMS deactivate a Ticket Generator ticket?

Yes, where the inbound message supplies a usable ticket reference and the Zap is configured to interpret it. Inbound SMS Received can start Ticket Generator’s Deactivate Ticket action for that workflow.

How do I connect Ticket Generator to Mobile Message?

Create the workflow in Zapier with Ticket Generator as the trigger or action and Mobile Message as the other step. No code is required. You need accounts with both services and Zapier, then you can map and test the event fields.
