A new attendee registers for an event running on SpotMe and, from that point on, the difference between a full session and a half empty one often comes down to whether that person actually gets reminded to show up. Linking SpotMe to Mobile Message through Zapier means a New User registration can add that person straight away as a contact, ready for a reminder text closer to the day rather than a reminder that never gets sent.

A new session added to the event can trigger a text letting registered attendees know it is starting soon, and a new post on the event feed can trigger a text flagging the update to people who might otherwise miss it inside the app. The result is an attendee who turns up on time, does not miss the announcements that mattered, and hears from the event organiser through a channel they are far more likely to actually read, without anyone sending each message out by hand.
