A customer submits a Spike form while your team is handling other work. The submission may be a sales lead, service request or internal handover, and a delayed response can leave the sender unsure whether anyone has seen it. Spike users can send that event through Zapier to Mobile Message for a prompt SMS acknowledgement.

New Submission can trigger an individual message, a list alert, contact creation or contact updating in Mobile Message. For instance, a team can text a person after receiving their form, alert a response group, or create a Mobile Message contact for future outreach. In the other direction, an inbound SMS can use Spike's Submit Form action to place the message into a public Spike form endpoint. That gives replies a visible record in the form system when the form is designed to accept the submitted fields.

Spike also offers Create Form, which can be used when another workflow needs to create a form, but it is not necessary for every SMS process. The connection is made in Zapier with both accounts, and every workflow is a defined one-way automation rather than a native two-way sync.
