A retailer's Shopify store takes a rush of paid orders overnight, and by morning some of the shipping addresses have typos, missing unit numbers, or a postcode that doesn't match the suburb. Before anyone texts a customer a delivery update, those small errors need catching, otherwise the message goes out referencing an address that will never see a parcel arrive.

Smarty sits in the middle of that Zap, checking each address against its known list of valid street addresses before anything else happens. Connected to Mobile Message through Zapier, a new paid order in Shopify can trigger Smarty's batch address check first, then hand a confirmed, standardised address across so the SMS that follows actually matches what the courier has on file. The same pattern works from a Google Form submission, checking the address someone typed into a signup form before a confirmation text goes out referencing it.

For a business shipping physical goods, this turns a manual proofreading step into something that happens automatically before the text is even drafted. Nobody has to eyeball a spreadsheet of addresses each morning, and customers get a confirmation message that matches an address that's actually been checked.
