Simple Sign SMS Integration

A customer has opened a contract, signed it or is still deciding whether to complete it. Simple Sign records those stages, and a Zap can turn each useful document event into a Mobile Message text. That gives a sales or accounts team a prompt to follow up, or lets a recipient receive a short confirmation when a signature is completed.

When a document is sent, Mobile Message can alert the responsible staff member that the signing process has begun. When Document Viewed can prompt a timely follow-up, while When Document Signed can notify the team that the recipient has completed the document. If Simple Sign supplies suitable contact information, the Zap can also create a Mobile Message contact or add one to a list.

The connection is made through Zapier. It uses one Simple Sign trigger with one Mobile Message action for each workflow, rather than synchronising document records in both directions. The SMS remains plain text and should point the recipient to the relevant next step or available document link.

Choose the event that matches your process and keep the message specific. A viewed document may call for a sales follow-up, while a signed document may need an internal handover. Test recipient numbers, document references and timing before the Zap is enabled for live contracts.
