About the RSign integration

A customer replies to a text asking for the paperwork to be sent over, and rather than someone stopping to draft an email with an attachment, RSign can send the document out for signature straight away. Mobile Message connects to RSign through Zapier, so a reply on the SMS side can start a document workflow on the RSign side without anyone touching a template by hand.

When a customer texts in requesting paperwork, an envelope built from an RSign template can be sent to them automatically, ready to sign. If your process instead runs off a saved RSign rule, a reply can trigger that rule directly and send the matching envelope to the right recipient, so the step between a customer asking and a document landing in their inbox happens without anyone at your end picking up the request first and working out which template or rule applies.

RSign also holds template details, envelope status and signed documents, which stay available for you to check inside RSign once a document has gone out, so the Zapier connection covers the moment a text turns into paperwork rather than everything that happens after it is sent.

Can I send an RSign envelope when a customer texts me?

Yes. A Zap can trigger off Inbound SMS Received and send an envelope using an RSign template or rule, so a reply asking for paperwork results in a document being sent out for signature without anyone starting it by hand.

Does RSign automatically pick a template based on the text?

The Zap sends whichever template or rule you choose when you set it up. RSign does not read the content of the message itself, so you decide in advance which envelope goes out when a reply comes through.

How do I set up Mobile Message and RSign together?

You need accounts with both Mobile Message and RSign, then a free Zapier account to connect them. Pick Inbound SMS Received as the trigger and one of RSign's send envelope actions, and Zapier handles the rest with no coding needed.
