PlumDocs SMS Integration

A proposal, quote, or contract can be generated in PlumDocs while the sales team is moving between calls and approvals. If nobody notices the new document, the customer may wait for an update and the next sales step can lose momentum. Through Zapier, PlumDocs can pass document events to Mobile Message, so a useful notification reaches the customer or account owner promptly.

New Document Generated can send an SMS confirming that a proposal or agreement is ready. The message can include a personalised greeting, the deal or customer reference, and a review link if one is available in the data supplied by PlumDocs. Mobile Message can also create a contact or add one to a list when the document workflow provides a suitable mobile number. If a customer texts Mobile Message first, Inbound SMS Received can trigger Generate Document in PlumDocs for a defined request. Keep the fields and message wording specific to the workflow so recipients understand what action is expected.

This connection runs through Zapier, rather than creating a native PlumDocs and Mobile Message integration. Each Zap is a one-way automation, so you decide which event should start the process and which result should follow.
