About the Openmic integration

A missed follow-up after a sales or support call can leave a useful conversation sitting in a call log. Openmic can send a New Post-Call Summary when an AI voice agent finishes a call, including the caller, summary, and extracted data. That event can start a Mobile Message SMS, so a person receives the important outcome without waiting for someone to review every call.

Teams can use this for immediate internal alerts, customer follow-up prompts, or notifications when a call contains a particular outcome. For example, a post-call summary can text a manager that a caller needs attention, or notify a staff member that extracted details are ready for action. Mobile Message sends the plain text message, while Openmic remains responsible for the voice conversation and its summary.

Openmic also provides Create a Phone Call, which can be started when Mobile Message receives an inbound SMS. This gives a sensible route from a customer text to an outbound AI call, where the Zap contains the number and any relevant message context. The connection is configured in Zapier, rather than being a native two-way integration.

A Zapier account and subscription is required for this integration. Please view Zapier's pricing page for further information.
