Can I use imghero to add an image to a text message from Mobile Message?

Not directly. SMS only carries plain text, so imghero's Generate Image action can't attach a picture to a message. What it can do is generate an image and hand back a link, which you can include as a text URL inside an SMS sent through Mobile Message.

Does imghero send the image itself once it's generated?

No. imghero's Generate Image action only returns an embeddable image URL and doesn't send anything to anyone. Sending happens in a separate step, such as an SMS sent through Mobile Message that includes the generated link as part of the message text.
