About the Photon integration

A customer sends an iMessage and expects a useful response, but your team may need to move that conversation into a business SMS workflow. Photon brings iMessage activity from your Photon server into Zaps, so Mobile Message can send a plain text SMS when a new message is received. You can also use Mobile Message’s inbound SMS event to start a Zap that sends a reply through Photon.

This gives your team a practical way to reach people who use different messaging channels. An incoming iMessage can prompt an SMS acknowledgement, while an inbound SMS can send an iMessage from your server. The two channels remain separate, but Zapier can pass the message details between them and help staff respond from the system they monitor. Photon’s Send Message action makes the outbound iMessage visible to the recipient, and Mobile Message’s Send SMS action handles the text message side.

A Zapier account and subscription is required for this integration. Please view Zapier's pricing page for further information.
