About the iService integration

Customer service teams using iService often need to turn each new interaction into a clear next step. An interaction may need a ticket, a note or a contact record, while the customer may benefit from an immediate SMS acknowledgement. iService can send Zapier a New Interaction event. Mobile Message can then send an SMS, create a contact or add the person to a list, giving the support team a practical response path.

You can also use Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger to create a ticket or note in iService when a customer texts the business. That can place the message into the service workspace for someone to review. The available fields determine what can be written into the note or ticket, so map the sender and message carefully. This connection is set up through Zapier with separate accounts. It does not create a native two-way sync, and each direction is a separate automation with one trigger and one action. Test both workflows independently before using them for live support.

A Zapier account and subscription is required for this integration. Please view Zapier's pricing page for further information.

iService + SMS: common questions

Can iService send an SMS for a new interaction?

Yes. New Interaction can start a Zap that uses Mobile Message’s Send SMS action. The workflow can acknowledge the customer using the phone number and interaction information available in iService.

Can inbound Mobile Message texts become iService tickets?

Yes. Inbound SMS Received can trigger iService’s Create Ticket action. Map the sender and message content into the ticket fields so the service team can review the customer’s text.

What do I need before connecting iService to Mobile Message?

You need iService, Mobile Message and Zapier accounts. The connection requires no code. Select New Interaction or Inbound SMS Received, choose the matching action, map the available fields, and test each Zap before putting it into service.
