A field worker uploads a new GoCanvas submission from a completed inspection, work order or form, and the office may need to acknowledge it quickly. Waiting for someone to open the dashboard can slow the next customer update or internal decision. Through Zapier, New Submission can start a Mobile Message SMS or contact action.

A text can tell a coordinator that a submission is ready for review, using the form data available from GoCanvas. If the submission includes suitable contact details, the workflow can also create a Mobile Message contact or add one to a list. The exact fields depend on the selected GoCanvas App and the submission supplied for testing.

This suits mobile workforces that want a clear notification after field data arrives. It does not create a native connection, send the form itself by SMS or synchronise GoCanvas with Mobile Message. Zapier listens for New Submission and runs the Mobile Message action you configure. Keep sensitive operational details out of the message unless your process calls for them.

Yes. New Submission can trigger Mobile Message’s Send SMS action in Zapier. Map the recipient and suitable form fields from the selected GoCanvas App into the message.

Can a GoCanvas submission create a contact?

Yes. New Submission can start Create Contact when the submission contains the required contact details. Test the selected app first because available fields depend on the submission data.

How do I connect GoCanvas forms to Mobile Message?

You need GoCanvas, Mobile Message and Zapier accounts. No code is needed. Select New Submission, choose a Mobile Message action, map the form fields and test the notification before activating it.
