Eventcombo users can give attendees a timely message as soon as something important happens around an event. A new attendee registration can trigger an SMS with joining information, while a new attendee check-in can alert an organiser or send a welcome message. New events and new orders can also start messages that keep customers and staff informed.

These event-based alerts are useful when a registration confirmation, arrival notice or order update should not depend on someone watching the Eventcombo dashboard. You can personalise the text with the event and attendee details available to the Zap, then send it through Mobile Message. Eventcombo provides the triggers and Mobile Message provides the SMS action. Because this connection has no Eventcombo actions, it sends notifications from event activity rather than changing registrations, orders or event records.
