A contract workflow has started, and someone needs to know that the next step is underway. Without an alert, staff may only discover the new workflow instance when they return to Docubee and check its activity. A short SMS can provide a timely prompt for an internal owner or a participant when the workflow reaches a defined event.

Use Docubee’s Workflow Instance Started trigger with Mobile Message Send SMS. You can include the workflow name, recipient and any available reference data in the message. The When a Zapier Event Is Reached in the Workflow trigger can also send an SMS at a selected point in the process, such as when an approval or signing step needs attention. Mobile Message’s Send SMS to List action suits a shared operations alert.

Docubee’s Start a Workflow Instance action can be paired with Mobile Message’s Inbound SMS Received trigger where an incoming text contains the data needed to start a workflow. Each Zap has a defined direction, and the platforms do not synchronise contract records automatically.
