Docsumo SMS Integration

Teams that use Docsumo to turn invoices, pay slips or bank statements into structured information often need to tell someone when processing changes status. Without an alert, staff may keep checking the account or wait for another system to reveal that a document is ready. A short SMS can make the important status change visible sooner.

Docsumo's Document Status Changed trigger can start a Mobile Message Send SMS action through Zapier. For example, the workflow can text an internal team member when processing reaches a selected status, or notify a customer that their document has been received or processed. If the event contains suitable contact details, the same trigger can also create a Mobile Message contact or add one to a list.

Docsumo supplies the document event and Mobile Message handles the chosen communication action. This is a defined Zap, not a general data sync between the services. Keep the message plain text and avoid including sensitive document contents. Map only the status and contact fields needed for a useful notification, then test the workflow with representative data.
