Docdown SMS Integration

Operators who create PDF documents from templates often need to know when a workflow has finished before the next customer or internal task can begin. Checking Docdown repeatedly can slow that handover, especially when several documents are being prepared. A Zapier workflow can use Workflow Completed to send an SMS through Mobile Message, giving the responsible person a clear completion notice.

Workflow Completed can trigger Send SMS with the workflow name, recipient details or other fields available from Docdown. The message can tell a team member that the PDF workflow is complete and ready for its next step. It can also notify a customer contact when the workflow output has been delivered through the process configured in Docdown, provided the required number is available.

Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger can start Docdown's Execute Workflow action in a separate workflow. A text received by your Mobile Message number could provide the information needed to run a selected document workflow. These are distinct Zapier automations, not an automatic two-way sync, so you decide which messages are accepted and which workflow runs.
