About the ComPDF integration
On its own, ComPDF only produces the finished file, it does not tell anyone it is ready. Adding Mobile Message to the same Zap means that once an invoice is generated, pages are merged into a contract or a scanned form has been made searchable, a text goes out to the customer or the office confirming it is done, so nobody has to check the file manually.

ComPDF + SMS: common questions
Can I get a text when ComPDF finishes generating a PDF?
Yes. Build a Zap that starts with an event in another app, such as an overdue invoice in Xero or a paid order in Shopify, have ComPDF generate or merge the PDF in the middle step, then have Mobile Message send a text confirming it is ready. ComPDF does not send texts itself.
Does ComPDF send the actual PDF file by SMS?
No. SMS through Mobile Message is plain text only, so a Zap can tell a customer their document has been generated, merged or converted, but it cannot deliver the file itself as an attachment. The text simply confirms the paperwork is ready.
How do I connect ComPDF and Mobile Message without writing any code?
